Eligin was developed in collaboration with leading Czech scientists, prof. Bartůňková, prof. Tříska and ing. Houška. This scientific board continues to oversee the quality of Eligin even after its launch.

 

Scientific Council

prof. MUDr. Jiřina Bartůňková, DrSc.

Head of the Department of Immunology, 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University

A leading Czech immunologist and a winner of the Milada Paulova Prize in Clinical Medicine. As Head of the Institute of Immunology, 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, deals with immune disorders and diseases. She leads a successful research on tumor immunotherapy. And she believes that immunity through its ubiquity in the human body reduces the boundaries between classical organ medicine and system view.

Role in the Scientific Council: Doctor´s view – immunologist.

prof. Ing. Jan Tříska, CSc.

Institute of Global Change Research AS CR

He graduated from VŠCHT Praha (University of chemisty and technology Prague), Faculty of Fuel and Water Technology, full-time aspirant at VŠCHT Praha, Faculty of Fuel and Water Technology; habilitation course of VŠCHT Praha, branch of Analytical Chemistry and Professorship of Masaryk University Brno, field of Environmental Chemistry. For example, he worked as a scientist and head of the Laboratory and Deputy Director of Laboratories of ČSAV České Budějovice. During his career he has been on several study stays – for example in Germany, USA or in Canada. From 1993 until present he works as a researcher at the Institute of Research and Global Changes of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, v.v.i. He has also lectured at JU since 1993.

Ing. Milan Houška, CSc.

Research Institute of Food Prague

He graduated from the Czech Technical University, Mechanical Engineering Faculty, Department of Chemical and Food Machinery. The theme of his dissertation thesis was Engineering aspects of thixotropic fluids. Mr. Ing. Milan Houška, CSc. is the Deputy Director of Science and Research at the Research Institute of Food Industry, later the Research Institute of Food Prague, v. i. He graduated from HACCP, a course on food quality and safety at Cornell University in Ithaca, USA.

Role in the Scientific Council: Point of view of a food specialist.
